Indian music at its purest
Music can't get purer when it is listened to with unbridled joy and enthusiasm of the discerning music lover. It can't get more exhilarating when you hear a past master and a budding young talent share the same stage to showcase their art.
The Indian Music Academy brings together the maestros of the country and upcoming musicians under an interactive platform and in never forms that have never been witnessed before.
Jalsa concerts - thrown open free to all music lovers - are designed to make the art, science and values of Indian Music approachable to the average music enthusiast in an unforgettable experience.
Music is taken beyond the boundaries of a stage through interactive sessions post the concert, addressed by the performing maestro and the younger artistes.
Idea Jalsa 2006, supported by Idea Cellular, was staged across 12 cities. The 2006 tour was inaugurated in Hyderabad with a musical treat by Dr. L. Subramanium and Sanjeev Abhayankar.
