A true musician values his presence when with a fellow artisan. A great sense of fulfilment and achievement overwhelms his emotions, as he steps on a common platform with his contemporaries. And this is exactly what IMA strives to achieve, to provide an ambience wherein artists relate with each other in the language they are so fluent in. The Indian Music Academy is honoured to accept new members as part of its family of Indian musicians. Together, we can bring about a change in the entire Indian music scenario, and that, we, at IMA certainly will, so join hands and become an IMA ite.

The criteria for becoming a member: -

Any and every individual, who has been connected to music as a performing artist or teaching, should have served music, professionally, for a minimum of 10 years.

Your sincerity and dedication is our charges, otherwise No cost involved for membership.

Currently there are 1000 musicians as members.
